Lemon Ginger Honey Salmon
One of my favorite recipes, which can be used for any fish or chicken as well. Try to find local, fresh fish if you can; otherwise, frozen is the freshest option available in your grocery store. Fishermen catch the fish and freeze it right on the boat for the best quality and freshest seafood to get ready to ship to your local store. Fish is high in Omega 3’s, great for lowering triglycerides, for heart health, and brain health.
This recipe is easy and quick. Recipe is enough for one person or a whole family. You can cook this many ways, bbq, smoker, broil, bake, pan fry.
Ingredients:
1 Salmon filet or steak ( or more one filet per person)
1/2 Fresh Lemon
1/2 Teaspoon of Sea Salt
1/4 Teaspoon of Cracked Black Pepper
1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil or Avocado Oil
1 Tablespoon of Wild Essence Raw Lemon Ginger Honey
Directions:
Rinse and pat dry the Salmon or other type of fish you choose.
Spread Olive oil over the fish
Add salt and pepper
Cook fish; I like to smoke mine low and slow, then turn up the heat to crisp the outside.
About a minute or two before the fish is done to your desired temp, rare, medium rare, or well done, add the honey to the top of the fish and let it bubble slightly so it is crunchy and sweet!
Remove from heat and enjoy with your favorite side dish or on top of salad, my favorite.
