Elderberry

Elderberry traditionally was used indigenously to treat fevers and rheumatism, while the Egyptians used it to improve their complexions and heal burns.

Elderberry is from the Adoxaceae family and comes in many varieties, the most common being Sambucus nigra, the European elderberry.

Elderberry is a go-to herb for immune support, especially during cold and flu season. Rich in

antioxidants and vitamin C, it helps reduce the severity and duration of viral infections. Its antiviral

effects have been demonstrated in both lab and clinical studies.
